January Favorites

I'm not going to lie and say "It's February already? Where did the time go?" because the closer we get to warmer weather the better, but I've definitely enjoyed quite a few things this month (although most of them were enjoyed in the warmth of my home...go figure.)

Bath, Body & Beauty

Village Natural Bath Salts - I am usually a bubbles-over-salt in my bath kind of person, but I tried a packet of this and it was amazing. It smelled so good and it was so soothing.

ME! Mini Bath Ice Cream - Another bath product that isn't bubbly...Y'all know I love Lush but sometimes I don't want to shell out $8 for a bath bomb (even if it smells, looks and looks divine) so these are a great alternative.

Botanics softening cleanser - I had a tiny sample of the Liz Earle hot cloth cleanser from a Birchbox that I was using and LOVED...and then my dog ate it. I wasn't about to shell out $40 for a cleanser, so I looked for the next best thing at Target. Botanics actually has products that look more similar to the Liz Earle cleanser, but this was the closest thing they had at my Target so I got it. It removes makeup really well and isn't harsh or drying.

Wet Brush- I lost my Tangle Teezer dupe in December, so I bought this instead after hearing Lauryn from The Skinny Confidential rave about it in her book. I have always had hair that tangles really easily and a super tender head (it's not a fun combination) and this goes through the tangles with minimum suffering on my part. And, of course, you can use it on wet hair which is always a bonus (you should never use a normal brush on wet hair because it will damage it!)

Maybelline Fit Me - I have had this foundation for a while and I hated it at first, but with the right primer it is great. I actually prefer dewier skin but I have combination skin, so I find if I use a matte foundation and a dewy setting spray, I'm good to go.
