If you haven't heard of this little workout trick on numerous blogs or Carrie Underwood's Instagram, you're in for a treat. Deck of card workouts are incredibly easy to put together and can be as simple or as challenging as you want them to be. Basically, you choose a set of exercises for each suite and go through a deck of cards to determine the order in which you do the exercises and how many reps you'll do.
Today's workout focuses on your abs. I know I have a really hard time with any sort of balancing ab exercises, so I chose a bunch of basic ones you should already be familiar with. You can go through the entire deck in one go if you'd like, go through the deck throughout the day or just stop once you've done one set of each exercise. It's all up to you.
What face cards mean:
Ace: I would just do one rep here, although if you'd like an extra challenge, you can do 13.
Joker: 10 reps
Queen: 11 reps
King: 12 reps
Joker: Do a thirty second plank! If you're the type of person that throws jokers away, just do a minute-long plank at the end of your workout.
